Overview
The SD-XP300 is a flattening press for post-folding and post-stitching processing. A folded leaflet or booklet traps air between its panels and springs back at the fold, which is what makes finished stacks bulge and feed badly on downstream packaging equipment. The press removes that bulge and the curl around it.
It is used both offline as a dedicated flattening unit and inline behind folding machines and stitching lines to make a continuous automatic process. Pressing force is pneumatic and set independently of the conveying speed, so thin leaflets and thicker booklets run on the same machine.
Specification: 300 mm working width (30–300 mm range), 1–20 mm finished thickness, 1–60 m/min, 1 kW at 220 V, 1120 × 1050 mm, air supply 0.4–0.6 MPa.
